What is a Presale?

A presale is a token or coin sale that occurs before it gets listed on a decentralized exchange (DEX) like Pancakeswap or Uniswap.

During a presale, there are predetermined hardcap and softcap limits, and the price at which the tokens are sold is typically fixed. At least 50% of the funds collected from the presale are used to provide liquidity on the DEX, while the remaining funds go toward marketing and development efforts.

The presale price may be the same as or cheaper than the listing price, providing early investors with an opportunity to acquire tokens before they become available on the open market.
